To create a LibraryThing widget, log in to your LibraryThing account and go to the "Tools" tab. On the left, select "Make a Standard Blog Widget" and follow the instructions.
What is this?
An independant learning project incorporating some of the best of the “MD 23 Things” program
Our version is very user friendly and ties in examples of how many libraries are already using these technologies. The project is meant to encourage staff to explore Web 2.0 technologies and think about how the library might best use some of these technologies in the future.
Special thanks and recognition go to our Exploration team spearheaded by Sam Zline, who created the blog, organized the content and compiled the new content with input from fellow SDC member, Deb Bancroft, for Exploration 5: It’s a Library Thing and RRC member Alexa Leinaweaver for Exploration 6: Online Office Tools. The entire Staff Development Committee piloted various explorations and give helpful feedback.
